Established in the 1990 United States Immigration Act, the EB-5 Visa was created for the interests of foreign national investors seeking to acquire residency by means of monetary investments.

Governed by the EB-5 Investor Pilot Program, a foreign incomer is entailed to invest a minimal amount of one-million dollars. If the investment is allocated within a high targeted unemployment region defined as 150% of the national average unemployment statistic rate, the EB-5 applicant may invest a reduced amount of a minimum investment insertion of five-hundred thousand dollars. This lower investment threshold is the minimum allowed by U.S law to qualify for the EB-5 Visa/Green Card.

Through this innovative program, foreign investors are encouraged to invest funds in an economic unit known as a “Regional Center” and in return become lawful permanent U.S. residents.
